The Spring-Summer 2024 pre-collection is a return to musical roots inspired by Debbie Harry, lead singer of the group Blondie. This characteristic look is summed up by Jean Touitou: "When I see photos of Debbie Harry, I always wonder how she can be so attractive without ever being objectified; how is it possible to take sartorial provocation so far without being crude for even a moment? Perhaps we can thank that innate taste for perfect proportions and the ability to be someone else. And as if all that wasn't enough, she knew how to make excellent music, served by a wonderfully ambivalent voice." For men, the Spring-Summer 2024 pre-collection is a tribute to Lou Reed's distinctive 1970s style. A little faux leather jacket with a removable faux fur collar, faded black standard denim jeans and a large trench coat made of water-repellent cotton gabardine all play on the rock conventions that the former Velvet Underground frontman so loved. "Everyone has copied, is copying or will copy Lou Reed's style of dress. Drawing inspiration from him to design clothes is above all saying to yourself that you have to try to get close to beauty with — like him — very few means: just two chords (D/G) and disconcertingly simple words to describe a world of shattered souls," explains Jean Touitou.
Photographed by Venetia Scott (former Vogue UK fashion director), the campaign takes this collection outdoors, featuring a young camper couple with a relaxed chic vibe.
