Located in Orange County California, South Coast Plaza is one of the most exclusive shopping destinations in the Americas. A.P.C. has opened a boutique there, designed by Laurent Deroo Architecte studio, who played a subtle game of juggling the brand's characteristics with the codes of luxury inherent to this location. 

 

The boutique, organized around four prefabricated modules like cabins served by a central aisle, echoes the interior street of the mall in which it is situated. The first cabin is dedicated to accessories, the second and third to the women's and men's collections, the fourth to fitting rooms, while a final unit is devoted to the checkout counter.

 

The white of the various structures and the wood of the panels contrast with the deep khaki green of the floor and the display case, inspired by military canvas, an iconic element present in A.P.C. collections for many years. On the other hand, the large light-filled scialytic and the thick carpet give this A.P.C. boutique a genuine local touch.

 

A.P.C. South Coast Plaza is now open. Limited edition A.P.C. South Coast tote bags will be gifted with any in-store purchase over $500 (pre-taxed), while supplies last.
